A single language is missing; don't ask me which, but the numbers don't add up. - Mustafaa 15:18, 24 Dec 2004 (UTC)

I deleted the listing for Kwavi being listed as an unclassified language. Ethnologue no longer lists it as unclassified.

I also deleted the listings for Hibito and Cholon as they are now classified in a small language family combining the two languages. -Jake

Waxianghua

[edit]

Waxianghua (瓦鄉話 / 瓦乡话) is considered a mixed language of Chinese and Hmong in China. "hua" means speech in Mandarin Chinese, "xiang" means rural in Mandarin Chinese, and "wa" means speech in Southern Chinese dialects. The word 瓦 is only a phonetic transcription. -- Hello World! 03:57, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
